This place has to be the best Thai place I’ve had in Connecticut. The Pad Krapow was amazing and the Pad Thai had the perfect taste. The portions were very generous and the owner was very nice. I would also recommend the mango sticky rice for dessert and the Thai iced coffee something on the sweeter side.

By far the best Thai food I have ever had. The owner was incredibly friendly. He gave his wife(chef) the credit for all of our compliments. The food was incredibly fresh and the atmosphere was calming. Finally, the iced Thai tea was out of this world. Give yourself a treat and visit The Banana Leaf!

I was greeted by James within seconds of walking in the door. He was friendly and helpful when I was trying to decide what to order. The food was delicious. I started with the fresh roll that is served with a peanut dipping sauce. Veggies were crunchy and the sauce was thick and clung to my roll. For my main I had the Pad Thai with chicken (spice level 3). I'm over-using this word, but, delicious . The chicken was tender and the spice was perfect for me. (A little zing but you can still taste the food). The noodles twisted right onto my fork and no oily flavor that you get with some pad thais. I will be back on our next trip to Rocky Hill CT to try something else. Thank you James and the Banana Leaf for a wonderful lunch. (And supper as I have leftovers )

Great Tom Yum Soup / Broth! Local Pho & Vietnamese spot was a delightful surprise. I’ve been in the area a few times and always wondered what this place was with the name “Banana Leaf”! After finding out it was a local Pho spot I had to try it. I ordered a bowl of Tom Yum broth with Brisket & Shrimp and it was delicious. Wait time was relatively quick and soup came out nice and hot. Meat and Shrimp were both fresh and the Tom Yum broth is some of the best i’ve had in New England. The decor inside is simple and the service has always been friendly. Pho or Noodles is always better when you dine in but the second time around I got a to-go order and it traveled well and was just as flavorful. If you like spicy, they can accommodate! If you do not like spice, stick with the mild Thank you Banana Leaf! I will be back.

Before I start, the menu displayed on Google, and the one at the restaurant do not always agree. Check with your server as the meal I wanted was not on the menu, but was available......Have eaten here before. The food here is great!!! My Wife and I had the Pad Thai. Awesome!! Generous servings and very reasonable prices. Excellent and friendly service. The menu has some very interesting dishes, so we will return in the near future to try some of the other items listed. I was impressed and had a nice evening.
